The evolution of diplomacy

Diplomacy is the very important aspect of International Relations, due to it many conflicts were resolved and due to it many countries negotiate with each other and the relations between different countries worldwide are getting better and improving , this is all due to Diplomatic relations. Of course it is obvious that not all countries are negotiating with each other and not all of them have good relations with each other. It is needed to say that usually diplomatic relations between countries are built because of their mutual interest in each others possessions. But Diplomacy has changed it was not always like that. I think that especially after Cold War diplomacy has changed because after that war, countries were looking for peace and peaceful relations , diplomats from different countries were negotiating with each other and doing compromise to make relations between countries better. In my opinion for last 30-40 years since now diplomacy has changed very much, if we look back to the history there were World War 1 and World War 2 where lots of people were killed and brutally murdered and its obvious and clean that we could not speak about Diplomacy at that period, but as i mentioned after the end of the Cold War it seemed that countries wanted piece, they did not want to live in threat they wanted quite and peaceful life, and because of that governments of many countries became to create negotiations between each other, many embassies were opened in different countries, I would like also to mention that embassies also played huge role in establishing good relations between countries. The creation of UN also made its effects to improve relations between countries. All these facts shows that for diplomacy has changed and changed in better side, it made relations between countries stronger and opened more windows for those countries which nedeed co-operation in order to improve its positions. Although in our days there are still Wars going on , for example: Iraq War since 2003 and Israeli-Palestinian War , but still overall relations between governments of the countries is in much better situation than in previous times, it is impossible to make fine relations and negotiations with all regions and countries, conflicts were always actual and they will be always actual. In my opinion Diplomacy could improve more than it is now, it improved very much for last 30 years but it could still improve much.
